New Look to Staff Directory

Kudos to Alisa Martorano and Kathleen Heneghan for the wonderful work they are doing on updating the Staff Directory for the Resurrection Website.  It is another "new look" and we hope it will help parents recognize staff and feel more comfortable approaching them.  The work is not finished yet so, staff, if you have any corrections or changes please call Ms. Martorano or Ms. Heneghan.

"Mi casa es tu casa"

Those of you who know Spanish or, are studying it, are probably familiar with the beautiful idiom;
"Mi casa es tu casa."  The term means, "my house is your house," and is a beautiful way of welcoming and making a guest feel at home.  In our world today we often communicate more with others by a text message rather than a visit.  The Sisters of the Resurrection want all of you as staff and students to know that you, your prayers and your needs are very special to us.  We are always happy to pray for you and your intentions via your e-mails and text messages.  But we also want to invite you to join us at Mass so we can pray together for you and your special needs.  So, on the first and third Friday of every month we are opening our "casa" door and welcoming any of you who would like to join us for our 7 a.m. Mass in the Convent Chapel.  Starting September 5th we will welcome our Resurrection College Prep High School guests between 6:45 and 6:55 a.m. at our front door (7432 West Talcott).  Just bring your intentions and we will unite in prayer.

New Look for the Library

Ms. Ann Marie Schneider, Resurrection's Librarian, is excited to welcome you to the Library with it's new look.  For a little variation in seating and work space, Ms. Schneider has added some cafĂ© style seating.  This will provide some nice space for working on Chromebooks.  Pictured with Ms. Schneider is our new Library Assistant, Ms. Vanessa Wheatman.  Thank you Ms. Schneider for making the Library a warm and welcoming space.  Welcome to Res Ms. Vanessa Wheatman, we look forward to working with you!
